Rick/D2S: Rob, thank you for catching up with us here at Dead-to-Self Radio! It’s great to feature you here as a long-time fan of the band and of your music at large!

RR/Driver: Well thank you! Thanks for your support with all the music I've done.

Rick/D2S: The reason we are getting together today is to talk about Driver’s new project “Countdown”. The album is being released 5.25.12. Did you ever think when the original Driver project was in the works several years ago you’d be out promoting a new release in 2012?

RR/Driver: No! At the height of Driver back in 1990, we were totally ready for a record deal, but "grunge" came in and took over the label signings. Since then time has passed and it wasn't until 2008 that we finally did our "Sons of Thunder" CD. We were very happy to finally get those great songs out on CD and because of the success of that CD; we are now here with another new release "Countdown".
