Early Thoughts...
It's been ten and a half years since P.O.D. have released their last great album. Since that time, they've kicked guitarist Marcos Curiel out of the band, experimented with Living Sacrifice's Jason Truby, and then welcomed Marcos back into the fold. All the while, they were never quite able to capture the perfect blend of an album like Satellite. Can the San Diego quartet turn things around coming off what was arguably their weakest effort (When Angels & Serpents Dance) and their longest span between records? The answer is a mix of sheer excitement and utter disappointment. On Murdered Love, the band welcomes back more of their Southtown and Satellite sound, for the most part, on an album that features some of their best songs in years together with a couple of the weakest tracks in their history. While, as a whole, Murdered Love is one of their boldest spiritual endeavors (sans two "fun" tracks), the album is edited. This doesn't mean "edited" because Christian bookstores don't like the cover either (again). This means "edited" to avoid a "Parental Advisory" logo on the front cover. Yes, the final track features 6 (3 actual and 3 echoed) edited uses of the infamous "F" word. Though I'm not sure the reasoning behind their usage of it, buyers beware...-

Eyez (feat. Jamey Jasta) (2:47)
Murdered Love (3:45)
Higher (3:22)
Lost In Forever (4:06)
West Coast Rock Steady (3:05)
Beautiful (3:53)
Baylon The Murderer (4:19)
On Fire (3:44)
Bad Boy (3:18)
Panic & Run (3:16)
I Am (5:10) (**Features several muted uses of the "F" word)

O site brasileiro http://iamthemessenjah.blogspot.com.br/ [pod fanpage], falou com o Sonny a respeito e ele mandou essa... "The guy who wrote that is an idiot"

Será que eles leram mesmo o review? O http://jesusfreakhideout.com/ é um site cristão sério, diferente e longe de qualquer coisa 'gospel' feita por aqui. Santos, eu sei que não, mas profissionais... Isso garanto.
